SEEHyC is showcased at ENTSOG’s Innovative Projects Platform and GIE’s Innovation Lab
In 2024, seven gas transmission system operators established cooperation on the South-East European Hydrogen Corridor. They aim to explore the feasibility of this hydrogen pipeline corridor to connect promising supply areas in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania via Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic to demand centres along the corridor especially to Germany.
Attempts have been recognized also by ENTSO-G and GIE. SEEHyC is from now on being showcased at ENTSOG’s Innovative Projects Platform and at GIE’s Innovation Lab.
ENTSO-G and GIE are promoting the most innovative activities of European gas transmission system and underground gas storages operators that support the deployment of low-carbon and renewable hydrogen in-line with decarbonisation goals of the European Union.
Project will also allow green hydrogen produced in Near Middle East to be transported to points of consumption alongside the route.
